Drummer Norbert Goldberg brings together two of the most sought-after musicians in Brazilian jazz today: pianist Helio Alves and bassist Gili Lopes. Alves, a featured artist on Yo-Yo Ma’s Grammy-winning Obrigado Brazil, joins Lopes—who has brought his artistry to over 35 countries—to create a unique, dynamic musical experience. From the sophisticated harmonies of Antônio Carlos Jobim to high-energy samba-jazz, the ensemble delivers virtuosic solos and the deep, rhythmic interplay characteristic of Brazilian music. Their diverse repertoire spans Brazilian standards, Afro-Cuban grooves, and Goldberg’s own original compositions.
