Boys will be Boys– Held Accountable

This is a variety show featuring spoken word, song, and dance on the topic of dismantling the patriarchy. Due to its sensitive theme, it is suitable for adults 18 years and older.
The show tackles themes of toxic masculinity, such as the idea that men have to be “tough”, they shouldn’t cry, shouldn’t seek therapy, shouldn’t be nurturing or be in female dominated fields like nursing or early childhood education, etc. and also issues of transphobia, the disrespect of women, and homophobia. The goal of the show is to create a safe space for artists to heal the hurt around these issues.
